Katie

Patient Care Coordinator

Katie is a Colorado Springs native and has been with NGFC since April of 2023, where she can be found at the front desk handling all things patient care. She graduated from Colorado State University in Fort Collins with a degree in Interdisciplinary Liberal Arts and a minor in English (which basically just means she was interested in lots of different fields and couldn’t pick just one!).

Katie loves all things creative and enjoys writing, art, escaping into another world via a good story, and cheering on the Denver Broncos (even when they’re terrible). She is passionate about mental health and is always ready for a good conversation on the topic. Around the office, you’ll often find her corresponding with patients, decorating the chalkboards, and adding commas to Dr. Marc’s weekly newsletter.

About Katie:

I have been getting adjusted since I was 4 years old, which I am so grateful for. Chiropractic was very normal to me growing up—it was just something my family did. So when I saw the opportunity to work at NGFC, a lot of things made sense. I’d been looking for a job for months at the beginning of 2023, only to be met with lots of silence. God knew what He was doing though, and when the time was right, it only took about a week for everything to fall into place for me to accept a role at NGFC.

In the year or so that followed, so much about my life and health changed. I was daunted by the idea of trying to improve how I ate, and I’d become accustomed to regular headaches and relying on over-the-counter medication to manage them. Through the support and care of Dr. Marc and the rest of the team, along with the functional testing we do in-office, I’ve been able to develop healthier eating habits, reduce the number of headaches I have, and completely stop the use of painkillers. My health has improved in other areas as well, and I’ve been able to start coming off the SSRI I’ve used for years. Proving to myself that change and healing can happen, beyond what I could have imagined for myself, has been so encouraging—and it is absolutely possible for you too.

I feel very blessed to work in such an uplifting, life-giving environment, where I know our patients personally and get to watch them heal. We have such truly wonderful people who walk through our doors everyday, and I’m so glad I get to be a part of this family!
